We are having a name change for the newsletter from The Composer’s Life to The Composer’s Studio!

The podcast will continue being The Composer’s Life, continuing to educate composers with rich experiences, advice, and cover composition topics - while this newsletter will go by The Composer’s Studio, offering you an even deeper insight alongside the podcast into a composing career, with all of the same great monthly newsletters to come. So, if you see an email from something a bit different… it’s still me!

This Month in History

Rhapsody in Blue Premieres on the 12th February, 1924

George Gershwin premiered one of his famous pieces of music in New York City’s Aeolian Hall during a concert meant to help educate listeners about the evolution of jazz. While audience members were growing a bit tired while listening, they were suddenly captivated by the exciting sound that Gershwin brought to the stage.
