A Personal Note

This summer, I had the opportunity to FINALLY celebrate my wedding with family and friends.

If we rewind back to 2020, the year of slight chaos, my husband and I decided to get married amidst the uncertainty and fear.

We had our wedding right in the middle of my university semester, outside, with only 10 other people in attendance (including our officiant).

My husband’s family couldn’t attend, nor could many of our loved ones. The “dream wedding” was more of a “cute ceremony” transmitted onto Facebook for the world to watch.

While it was a very special day, we promised ourselves a REAL wedding in the future, one full of all the customs, traditions, clothing, and fun party things that people do during weddings.

That day finally came this summer. Along with hand making my dress, planning everything out and setting it all up, I also decided to write the piece of music that I’d walk down the aisle to.

It’s a piece of music that’s very special to my heart, a piece I wrote shortly after meeting my husband for the first time. And today, I’m sharing it with you.

I don’t have an audio recording of it yet, but once I do, I’ll let you know. For now, if you can play the piano or know someone who can, here’s the sheet music:

Thanks for being a part of my little corner, and I hope you’re able to bring back treasured moments and memories with special pieces of music like this.

Until next time,

Nadia
